This project involved demolition of an existing warehouse, extensive road relocation and railroad siding reworking for a complete change in traffic and material flow throughout the plant and warehouse facilities. The new construction included an 88,000 square foot structure to house an automated steel storage and retrieval system. The retrieval system required a concrete base 82' x 120' x 3' thick and 1200 yards of concrete with 97 tons of reinforcing steel. This was a Design/Build project. Contract negotiated with Guaranteed Maximum of $3.5 Million.
