The Lofts at the Bread Factory
17th and Cowart Streets
Chattanooga,
Tennessee
The Lofts at the Bread Factory – Originally constructed in 1925, this two-story 27,000 square foot building located on 17th and Cowart Streets was be developed into 26 loft-style rental units ranging in size from 500 to 1,300 square feet. The design style is known as “industrial chic” and is modeled after New York-type lofts with open floor plans, high ceilings, original steel windows, wood/concrete floors and exposed structure and spiral ductwork. The building also features a two-story interior courtyard. The units have the potential to be “live-work”, where residents live upstairs and have a business downstairs. The project was completed in the Spring of 2003.
